__

__Our reach and wash technology has been proven to be very successful for cleaning many things as well as windows. Company signs, wall paneling, plastic/glass roofing and lorry canvases are to name but a few things our equipment will revive into a clean state. We are always willing to try our equipment for any other cleaning task you may think we can help you with.

__Other tasks we undertake are gutter clearing and conservatory roof cleaning please feel free to contact us for more information.

__How does reach and wash work?

__Our reach and wash vans use 100% pure water pumped up an extendable pole, through a brush onto the surface being cleaned. As water is not naturally totally pure it strives to return to its normal contaminated state and quickly dissolves the dirt being agitated by the brush, this makes it a very effective cleaner.

__Water that contains no contaminants will dry without leaving any marks or residue, our purified water has zero parts per million contaminants (compared to 350-450 parts per million in average tap water).

__How high can the poles reach?

__Our largest pole is 65' which can reach up to 5-6 floors high.

__How do we ensure our water is 100% pure?

__The water being filtered is checked at each stage of filtration. Before any filter section nears it's life expectancy or if it's not producing the expected purity it is replaced without fail.

__Despite the tight control at the filtration stages, each of our window cleaning vans is equipped with meters that test each batch of water before it's use.

__How is the water filtered?

__Stage 1

__A sediment filter is used to remove larger particles from the water supply

__Stage 2

__The water flows through coconut carbon. As the water passes the porous coconut carbon, any organic contaminants adheres to or is absorbed by the carbon.

__Stage 3

__A second section of activated carbon is used to remove any remaining organic contaminants. In this section the coal based carbon works identically to the coconut carbon .

__Stage 4

__The reverse osmosis process is considerably complex, however the basics are that the water is forced through a membrane that filters 98.9% of all contaminants in the water. This is a very effective system but is not very efficient, it produces a lot of waste water and is also very slow. To reduce to amount of waste water produced and speed up production, we pass the water through 3 separate RO units.

__Stage 5

__At this point the water still contains about 6-7 parts per million of contaminants (as apposed to the 350-450 we started with). A deionising unit or "water polisher" is used to produce 100% pure water. When the water is passed through the mixed bed resin all ions both positively and negatively charged are removed except for H30+ and OH- resulting in the totally pure water we use for cleaning windows.
